The Four Enemies of Coffee
We know that coffee beans begin as a seed of a fruit and are then dried to a green bean. Once, roasted, the shelf life of the bean begins to deteriorate. Like many food products we consume, there are specific elements that contribute to how long the quality of coffee will be acceptable. We consider these elements to be air, moisture, heat and light.
