Joffrey's supports the fair trade coffee movement which guarantees coffee farmers receive a fair price for their crops so that they can support their families and maintain their farms in the future. After all, who wants to drink a cup of gourmet coffee that leaves a bitter after taste.

Soil That Isn't "Dirty"

There are hundreds of steps involved in the process of making a delicious cup of coffee, beginning with raising an infant coffee tree. Joffrey's wants to make sure that its coffee comes from good homes, which is why we support organic free trade and purchase Fair Trade Certified Coffee.

Not that we're a bunch of coffee tree huggers. It's just good business. When small farmers make a profit through organic fair trade, they are encouraged to plant more coffee and follow exacting standards to ensure we'll have more premium coffee in the future.

Quality is our primary concern and as the organic fair trade movement continues to grow, availability of fair trade coffees may vary. We won't buy any coffee that does not meet our high standards of quality or that does not provide a fair value to you. When you buy Joffrey's gourmet coffees and fine teas you join in our commitment to social responsibility – just don't try to write off the cost as a tax deduction.
