Joffrey's has created a community of people with a taste for passion and the best gourmet coffees and fine teas from around the world. Today, Joffrey's can be found at resorts and hotels, fine restaurants and coffee shops and gourmet stores and supermarkets. But, without our excited fans, our company wouldn’t amount to more than a hill of beans.

Who is Joffrey?

In 1984, we sat down to launch our business plan. Someone asked if it was enough to have dreams dancing in our head of circling the globe for the best premium coffees and the finest black, red, white and green tea leaves. We replied we also had passion and, hey, dreams dancing in their heads and passion worked out alright for the Joffrey Ballet, didn’t it?

We take our name and inspiration from that great American dance troupe: we aim to create art with our gourmet coffees and teas and strive to transport our fans as they explore the sensual depths of each cup.

We’re based in Tampa, Florida where you can stroll through Ybor City and smell the exotic scent of roasting Cuban coffee or head over to Florida’s largest port and see shipments coming in from around the world.

As imported coffee and tea geeks, we couldn’t ask for a better location. We began by importing and hand-roasting our very own gourmet coffee and now we roast more than 124 different premium coffees. We later went on to incorporate gourmet teas into our offerings.

Bringing you the world in a cup

So far we’ve found premium coffees and fine teas on five of the seven continents. The only possible upside of global warming is that maybe we will find coffee beans in Antarctica one day too.

We believe in making the world a better place one cup at a time. We help ensure that coffee farmers are treated fairly by Purchasing Fair Trade Certified coffee which meets our strict quality standards. We don’t believe social responsibility is for the birds: Joffrey's Organic Colombian coffee is grown on a plantation approved by the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center as Bird Friendly®.

We never consider our work a grind

We respect and appreciate the history and tradition of the coffee and tea process. Joffrey's hand selects only the best gourmet coffee beans for our organic, varietals and blends, origin, dark roasts and flavored coffees.

We owe our success to many people from the farmers who raise and harvest the beans and tea leaves to the Joffrey's crew in our shipping department who ensure that our gourmet coffees and fine teas get to you at the peak of its freshness and flavor.

Forget humble, we have a right to brag. Joffrey's is the preferred provider of espresso coffee for Walt Disney World, a position we have earned by winning a blind taste test for six years straight. And that’s no Mickey Mouse achievement.

Our gourmet coffees and fine teas were selected to be served at Super Bowl XXXV and we also scored a touchdown when Crisper’s restaurants featuring gourmet salads, soups, and sandwiches chose to exclusively serve Joffrey's to its guests.

You can judge a coffee by the company it keeps and Joffrey's is a member of the Specialty Coffee Association, the Specialty Tea Association, the Florida Restaurant Association and the Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

In our community, Joffrey's has been an Outback Bowl sponsor since 2004 and a sponsor of the Gasparilla Run, Run for Kids and the Sarasota Youth Soccer League.
